Jaime Fournier- Artist and Architect b. 1953, San Juan PR
Instead of pursuing a Fine Arts degree, Jaime Fournier chose an architectural professional career. Completing a Master of Architecture degree at age 22. In 1979, he moved to NYC working as a designer under Hugh Hardy (HHPA). After his first group show (Martin Molinary Gallery), he moved to Barcelona in 1983, where he learned about current European trends including Neo-expressionism and La Transvanguardia. Back in San Juan, he belonged to MSA Experimental before joining two renowned galleries in 1987, Luigi Marrozzini and Botello.
